After 30 years of teaching, 25 of them at Indian Head Elementary, I finally retired. We had a celebration at the VFW in Indian Head.

Ron surprised me with this retirement sign posted in Indian Head along the main road!
 
My "best buddy" Anne was the Mistress of Ceremonies. We have taught together for 25 years.
 
My principal, Mr. Miller, Vice Principal, Mrs. Brown, the Indian Head staff, and special friends
 
Brenda made my special cake.
I even got an original Sue Brooks song!
I asked for this special plaque as my gift. I have the one given to my dad at the end of his school service, and I thought it would be really neat to have one of my own to put with his.
